British Paramedic Association - Curriculum Framework
For some months now the BPA has through its membership worked hard to
produce a Curiculum Framework for the guidance of ambulance services and higher
education institutes. The work has involved a wide range of expertise from
within the profession and with specialist professional advisers. The framework
will enable universities with their partner ambulance services to provide
detailed programmes that will meet the expectations and standards that the
profession believes is appropriate to the demands placed upon our services.
This is the most significant milestone in our history as a developing
professional body which will make a major impact on the future direction and
standards for the whole ambulance service provision.
The "Curriculum Framework for the Ambulance Profession" has now been
published for use in the next era of ambulance education.
