Changes to the constitution - Taking us forward
Constitution
At the AGM this year, further amendments were approved to the constitution of the BPA and College of Paramedics. The philosophy behind the constitutional changes are based on the development of the BPA as we become the only recognized professional body by those key stakeholders involved in the delivery and commissioning of ambulance services and its ever extending scope of practice.
Your support in taking the profession forward to the
point where we are becoming truly self regulated has played a major part in our
success. The revised constitution which as you will see establishes the College of Paramedics
as our forefront to the
organisation and the BPA will continue to exist in support of the
college. This
will enable over time and continued success for us to aim for royal
status for
your professional body. The changes associated will be be introduced
gradually as we need to repalce headed paper and other things.
This will ensure that the changes will not result large amounts
of money having documents reprinted.
